TEACHING & OUTREACH: iLAB

iLab, Physics 440

What is iLab?

iLab is a laboratory course designed to prepare students for work in a research laboratory. Students work in groups of three to complete physics experiments during the semester. There are no lab manuals, but substantial reading from the scientific literature is required. Most sources are provided online via the course’s Moodle page, but independent bibliographic research is expected as well. Students are expected to: design, propose, perform, analyze, and report on their experiments.
